Aliplast obtains the ISO 50001 certificate

ISO 50001 is an international standard for organisations that want to improve their energy performance. Global energy production is responsible for 60% of greenhouse gas emissions. The ISO 50001 standard aims to combat global warming caused by these greenhouse gas emissions. By certifying themselves to this standard, companies can distinguish themselves from other companies by implementing an energy management system, save energy and costs and contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases.

The certificate was issued by BCCA on 10-06-2021 after a number of audits which showed that Aliplast is making significant efforts to control and continuously improve its energy performance. The certificate is valid for 3 years: an annual audit takes place to assess whether the requirements of the ISO 50001 standard are still met and whether the certificate may be retained.
