EcoVadis Platinum for the Corialis Group

EcoVadis Platinum for the Corialis Group

Sustainability is not a destination for the Corialis Group, the group to which Aliplast belongs, but a way of working that has been embedded in our organization for many years. As a producer of premium aluminium window, door and façade systems, we are committed every day to innovative solutions that help reduce environmental impact, both at product level and throughout our manufacturing processes.

Thanks to these continuous efforts, Corialis achieved an EcoVadis Platinum Medal in 2026 with a score of 90/100. This places us among the top 1% of all companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis over the previous 12 months.
EcoVadis is an independent international assessment platform that evaluates companies on their sustainability performance (ESG: Environmental, Social & Governance). Sustainability performance is assessed across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Some tangible achievements of the Corialis Group:

  • Carbon emissions (Scopes 1, 2 and 3) were reduced by 23% in 2025 compared to 2022.
  • Approximately 74% of the electricity we use comes from renewable sources, including electricity generated by our own solar panels and purchased green electricity backed by guarantees of origin.
  • All our production sites operate an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system.

Various sustainability certifications for Aliplast Belgium

At Aliplast Aluminium Systems, we are committed to a circular economy in which raw materials remain in continuous use. We have been awarded a Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze certification for several of our aluminium systems.
Cradle to Cradle Certified® is a globally recognized standard for safer and more sustainable products, designed to support the transition towards a circular economy. It assesses products based on criteria such as material health, product circularity, clean air and climate protection, water and soil stewardship, and social fairness.

We are proud to share that we have also achieved the BCCA Sustainable Joinery Certificate – Gold!  This label looks beyond the environmental impact of a product and assesses the entire life cycle of joinery solutions. The BCCA Sustainable Joinery Certificate confirms that our windows, doors and façade systems meet stringent requirements in terms of quality, environmental impact and social responsibility. Through independent audits, the complete life cycle of the joinery is evaluated, from raw material extraction to recycling. Depending on the score achieved, companies are awarded a Bronze, Silver or Gold Certificate. For the second consecutive year, we have received this recognition, and this year with an improved score compared to last year. It is a valuable confirmation of our ongoing commitment to embedding sustainability across all our activities. We remain ambitious and will continue to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for the industry.

AluLoop: aluminium in a closed-loop system

With AluLoop, our latest circularity initiative, we aim to bring aluminium scrap from our own value chain back into our production process.

How does it work?

  • An approved scrap dealer collects aluminium scrap from participating distributors.
  • The scrap is remelted into high-quality, low-carbon billets.
  • We buy back these billets and extrude them into new aluminium profiles.

We are delighted to see that many of our distributors are enthusiastic about this new concept and have already joined the initiative. Through AluLoop, we keep more aluminium within our own circular ecosystem. Together, we can make a difference!
