Riding school Wolfshoeve

Aluminum windows

The design of this riding school was handled by architects Cees Bons and Peter van Aert, in close collaboration with engineering consultancy BMVV. Important aspects that had to be considered included the layout of the spaces to meet all current requirements within equestrian sports, so that competitions can also take place. To provide views of the outdoor arenas from the various rooms, the builders chose the Star75 windows from Aliplast. This system has a built-in depth of 75 mm for the outer frame and 84 mm for the sash and is suitable for glass thicknesses between 12 and 61 mm for the frame and between 21 and 69 mm for the sash.

With a Uw-value of 0.94 W/m²K, airtightness class 4, and an acoustic performance of 47.1 dB (-1, -4), this solution is ideal for applications with the highest demands in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation. Additionally, this solution also offers excellent fire-resistant properties, with certificates available for both EW30 and EI30.

Since everything at Aliplast is done under one roof, they were able to fully customize the profiles for this project. Thanks to their in-house bending department, the curved windows for the entrance building were produced. The profiles were coated in anthracite gray (RAL 7016), with a 25-year color warranty. With the Qualicoat Seaside label, we can guarantee that the color coating is excellently protected against aggressive environments, such as, in this case, being near sand.
